I figured that out the hard way. After 21 years of marriage, I walked away from the home I helped build — the one where I raised my kids, built my life, and poured everything I had into. My empty nest story didn’t start with kids leaving for college. It started with divorce, damaged credit, grief, and the terrifying process of starting completely over. What got me through it wasn’t a system or a strategy. It was people who showed up for me in ways that changed everything.
I measure success not by transactions closed, but by the difference I made in someone’s life.
That’s the kind of agent I decided to become.
I came back to real estate in 2020 after putting my license on hold through the hardest years of my life. I rebuilt from zero — and in my first year completely on my own, I earned Icon Agent status, placing me in the top 1% of eXp Realty company-wide. I’m on track to earn it again in year two. But what I’m most proud of isn’t the ranking. It’s that I built it by doing business the way I always believed it should be done — by genuinely caring about the people in front of me.
My deepest motivation is impact. I measure success not by transactions closed but by the difference I made in someone’s life during one of the most significant moments they will ever experience. I hold certifications in life transformation coaching, trauma recovery coaching, and eating psychology — not because they look good on paper, but because I have always been drawn to helping people through life’s hardest transitions. I know what it feels like to let go of a home that holds your whole life inside it. I know the grief, the fear, and the unexpected freedom waiting on the other side.
That’s why I specialize in empty nesters and downsizers across Northeast Ohio — Akron, Cleveland, Canton, Medina and everywhere in between. This isn’t just my niche. It’s my story.
I bring more than empathy to the table. I have hands-on experience with investment properties, rental portfolios, fix and flips, off-market deals, and new construction. I was first shaped by The Go-Giver and then by Will Guidara’s Unreasonable Hospitality — and both confirmed what I already knew. You pour into people and it comes back. Not through systems or checklists but through genuine presence. Listening deeply. Knowing what someone needs sometimes before they do. Showing up for them in that specific way. That’s the only way I know how to do this work.
When a client leaves a review and I read what I meant to them during that process — that is my confirmation. That is how I know I’m doing the right thing.
I live in Northeast Ohio with my husband Dave and our two dogs Doug and Lily — ten minutes from the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, 45 minutes from Lake Erie, and right in the middle of the community I love and have chosen to serve.
